About me: Philipp Rohrer, hiking guide
I have long longed for the Alps, and now they have become my home. I spend a lot of time in the mountains during summer and winter, whether hiking, rock climbing, or ski touring. I have been a tour leader for the Swiss Alpine Club for many years and began training as a hiking guide with the Swiss Mountain Guide Federation in spring 2023, which I completed in May 2024.
With "Die Wanderei," I offer guided hikes and snowshoe tours for individuals, groups, and teams in the canton of Uri, Central Switzerland, and other regions of Switzerland. In addition to the beautiful landscapes, I am also interested in the cultural, political, touristic, and economic aspects of the mountain regions we move through. For this, I bring along extensive experience in political communication from various NGOs in Switzerland and Europe.
